FARGO, ND (8/8/17) --- Tyler Alexander was simply dominant Tuesday night, leading the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks to a 5-0 win over the Kansas City T-Bones.
FARGO, ND --- Even after monday night’s 6-4 loss the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks and Kansas City T-Bones remain the top two teams in the wildcard standings. However, the win did increase the T-Bones’ lead to two over the RedHawks.
It was as if all the frustration came pouring out at once for the St. Paul Saints. They pounded out a season tying high 18 hits, eight of the nine starters collected at least one hit, eight of nine scored at least a run and seven of nine collected at least an RBI. All of that added up to a 12-2 thrashing of the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on Saturday night at CHS Field in front of 8,602. The win improved the Saints to 38-33 and they remain 3.5 games out of first in the North Division.
Since July 1, when closer Seth Rosin had his contract purchased by the San Francisco Giants organization, the St. Paul Saints have had just two saves. For the second time in five games the bullpen couldn’t hold a lead late, giving up four runs over the seventh and eighth innings and losing 6-5 to the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on Friday night at CHS Field in front of 8,712. The loss drops the Saints to 37-33 and they are now 3.5 games out of first place in the North Division.
Coming off of a series against the top pitching team in the league the St. Paul Saints welcomed the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks to town. Unfortunately, they boast the third best ERA in the American Association and the Saints didn’t have much luck against left-hander Tyler Alexander in a 6-2 loss in front of 7,729 at CHS Field on Thursday night. The loss dropped the Saints to 37-32, 3.0 games behind the North Division leading Winnipeg Goldeyes.
FARGO, ND --- The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks didn’t get an opportunity to finish their three game series with the Sioux Falls Canaries on Wednesday night. The game was postponed due to rain and will rescheduled as part of a double header in Sioux Falls at 5:05 pm on August 22nd.
