RedHawks SS Zach Penprase extended his hit streak to 11 games with a seeing-eye single to lead off the RedHawks first. Penprase stretched out his first inning single by stealing second for his sixth stolen base of the season. RF Jeremiah Piepkorn was 2-for-3 and extended his hit streak to 13 games.
Flyers 3B Vince Harrison spoiled RedHawks starter RHP Garry Bakker’s perfect game with a fourth inning 400-foot homerun to dead center.
CF Nic Jackson led off the RedHawks seventh with a solo shot to right to put the RedHawks on the board and spoil Glant’s shutout.
Flyers LF Jeff Dunbar hit an eighth inning two-run homerun to give the Flyers a 4-1 game-lasting lead.
