REDHAWKS FINISH PRE-SEASON WITH VICTORY

F-M Tops KC 7-3

Fargo, N.D. — The RedHawks continued to start strong in the first inning scoring two runs off Rick Rivas. Boomer Berry scored on a single by Mortimer (?) and Jeff Eure walks home with the bases loaded and Dustin Miles getting hit by a Rivas pitch. In the second inning, it was Carlo Cota with a double and Joe Mathis sending him home on a single into center field. The action didn’t stop in the third inning with Mortimer leading off with a homerun to right field.

REDHAWKS DRUB WINNIPEG 8-2

Fargo, N.D. — The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks improved their 2008 pre-season record to 4-2 as they defeated the Winnipeg Goldeyes 8-2 on Friday night at Newman Outdoor Field in Fargo, ND. Winnipeg dropped to 1-3-1 in the pre-season.
