Jose Sermo went 2-for-4 with a homer Tuesday night for the RedHawks, but Fargo-Moorhead came out on the wrong end of a 7-3 scoreline against the Winnipeg Goldeyes at Newman Outdoor Field. 

After leading the charge with three hits, a home run and six RBIs in a 17-1 road win against the Chicago Dogs on Saturday night, RedHawks infielder Jose Sermo was named the Carbliss AAPB Batter of the Week Monday. 

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks added to their roster Saturday ahead of the AAPB playoffs, acquiring outfielder Jairus Richards from the Gary SouthShore RailCats in exchange for outfielder Hunter Clanin and a player to be named later. 

Jake Dykhoff only threw 86 pitches Thursday afternoon and faced three batters over the minimum in a complete game, four-hit shutout 6-0 win over the Gary SouthShore RailCats at Newman Outdoor Field.

RedHawks starter Kyle Crigger fanned nine Gary SouthShore RailCats batters and allowed only three hits Tuesday night in a dominant 8-0 Fargo-Moorhead win in front of 3,066 fans at Newman Outdoor Field. 

After waiting more than an hour to get started with weather in the area, the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks fell just short in a 6-5 loss to the Cleburne Railroaders Sunday afternoon at Newman Outdoor Field. 

Michael Hallquist had two hits for the RedHawks on Saturday night. Both were big. Both also knocked in runs, and his walk-off single to deep left center in the 10th inning secured Fargo-Moorhead a 3-2 win over the Cleburne Railroaders in front of 3,186 fans at Newman Outdoor Field. 

With a sold-out crowd of 4,781 fans on hand at Newman Outdoor Field Friday night, the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks scored three times in the bottom of the eighth inning to complete a come-from-behind 6-5 win over the Cleburne Railroaders. 

Juan Fernandez hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning and added another RBI Thursday to help the RedHawks to an 8-3 win over the Sioux City Explorers in front of 3,123 fans at Newman Outdoor Field. 

Sioux City shortstop Maikol Escotto hit a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning Wednesday night to snag a 2-1 win over the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks in front of 2,996 fans at Newman Outdoor Field. 

Fargo-Moorhead forced extras with a five-run fifth inning Tuesday night at Newman Outdoor Field, but a run in the 10th inning was enough for the Sioux City Explorers to squeak out a 7-6 win over the RedHawks in front of 3,052 fans.

Michael Hallquist has been on fire for the RedHawks since returning from an injury in mid-July. All around the American Association, people are taking notice.

The RedHawks acquired two-time AAPB All-Star catcher Erik Ostberg from the Milwaukee Milkmen in exchange for Alec Olund, three players to be named later and future considerations. 

Jake Dykhoff struck out seven Lincoln Saltdogs and allowed no earned runs in 6.1 innings pitched Thursday night to lead the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks to a 7-2 win and a series sweep in front of 3,302 fans at Newman Outdoor Field. 

Nick Northcut delivered a walk-off double in Game 1 and Michael Hallquist hit the game-winning home run in the sixth inning of Game 2 as the RedHawks stormed to a sweep of their Wednesday night doubleheader against the Lincoln Saltdogs at Newman Outdoor Field. 

Tuesday night’s (8/5) RedHawks-Lincoln matchup at Newman Outdoor Field has been postponed due to rain, impending forecasts and unplayable field conditions.

After pitching a complete game shutout Sunday afternoon to lead the RedHawks to a 3-0 victory and a series win on the road against the Kane County Cougars, pitcher Tyler Jandron was named the American Association’s Carbliss Pitcher of the Week Monday. 

The RedHawks rallied for three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning, capped by José Sermo’s walk-off RBI single, to stun the Lincoln Saltdogs with a 5-4 win Sunday afternoon at Newman Outdoor Field. 

Lamar Sparks led off the order with three hits and the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks pounded 15 hits Saturday night in a 10-1 win over the Lincoln Saltdogs at Newman Outdoor Field. 

In the first game back after the American Association’s All-Star Break, the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks pounded 15 hits and two home runs en route to a 10-2 win Friday night over the Lincoln Saltdogs in front of 3,667 fans at Newman Outdoor Field.
