Nick Northcut delivered a walk-off double in Game 1 and Michael Hallquist hit the game-winning home run in the sixth inning of Game 2 as the RedHawks stormed to a sweep of their Wednesday night doubleheader against the Lincoln Saltdogs at Newman Outdoor Field. 

Tuesday night’s (8/5) RedHawks-Lincoln matchup at Newman Outdoor Field has been postponed due to rain, impending forecasts and unplayable field conditions.

After pitching a complete game shutout Sunday afternoon to lead the RedHawks to a 3-0 victory and a series win on the road against the Kane County Cougars, pitcher Tyler Jandron was named the American Association’s Carbliss Pitcher of the Week Monday. 

The RedHawks rallied for three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning, capped by José Sermo’s walk-off RBI single, to stun the Lincoln Saltdogs with a 5-4 win Sunday afternoon at Newman Outdoor Field. 

Lamar Sparks led off the order with three hits and the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks pounded 15 hits Saturday night in a 10-1 win over the Lincoln Saltdogs at Newman Outdoor Field. 

In the first game back after the American Association’s All-Star Break, the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks pounded 15 hits and two home runs en route to a 10-2 win Friday night over the Lincoln Saltdogs in front of 3,667 fans at Newman Outdoor Field.

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks are saddened to announce that longtime pitcher, coach and front office staff member Jeff Bittiger passed away Saturday at his home in Pennsylvania after a private battle with cancer. He was 63. 

Second baseman Michael Hallquist stole home in the fifth and scored on a wild pitch in the seventh inning as the RedHawks eased into a 4-2 win over the Kansas City Monarchs Wednesday night at Newman Outdoor Field. 

RedHawks pitchers allowed one run over 14 innings and the bats manufactured runs Tuesday night to claim 5-0 and 3-1 wins over the Kansas City Monarchs in two halves of a doubleheader at Newman Outdoor Field. 

The RedHawks welcomed Jeremy Dirksen from Spicer, Minnesota, Sunday as the franchise’s five millionth fan.

RedHawks center fielder Lamar Sparks tallied three hits, seven total bases and three RBIs Saturday night, but it wasn’t enough in a 6-5 loss to the Sioux Falls Canaries in front of 3,320 fans at Newman Outdoor Field.

Friday night had everything at Newman Outdoor Field, where 3,822 fans watched the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (29-28) come alive to score seven runs in their final four innings at the plate on the way to a 9-3 win over the Sioux Falls Canaries (31-25).

Dillon Thomas knocked a walk-off single to right in the 11th inning and RedHawks pitchers combined for 14 strikeouts Sunday afternoon to claim a 2-1 win and take a series victory against the Winnipeg Goldeyes at Newman Outdoor Field. 

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks were held to four hits Saturday afternoon at Newman Outdoor Field on the way to a 4-1 loss to the Winnipeg Goldeyes. 

Jose Sermo homered and Jake Dykhoff threw six shutout innings Friday night to help the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks to a 7-1 win over the Winnipeg Goldeyes in front of 4,154 fans at Newman Outdoor Field. 

After striking out 12 batters in a complete-game, two-hit shutout against Lincoln on Saturday, RedHawks pitcher Jake Dykhoff was named American Association pitcher of the week Monday for the first time in his career. 

Jake Dykhoff struck out 12 Lincoln Saltdogs batters and only allowed only two hits in a complete game performance Saturday evening to lead the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks to a 5-0 win at Haymarket Park.

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks were held to three hits Thursday afternoon in a 1-0 loss to the Milwaukee Milkmen in front of 3,389 fans at Newman Outdoor Field.
