RedHawks drop WDCS Game 3 in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The Kansas City Monarchs jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning and didn’t look back Thursday, besting the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 7-3 in Game 3 of the West Division Championship Series at Legends Field.

The RedHawks must win Game 4 on Friday in Kansas City to keep their season alive in the best-of-five WDCS.

Jesus Lujano and Tucupita Marcano homered for the RedHawks in the loss.

Jimmy Endersby got the win for the Monarchs, with Kyle Crigger picking up the loss for Fargo-Moorhead.

Game 5 is set for Friday at Legends Field. First pitch is slated for 6:35 p.m.
