FARGO — The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks will face the Winnipeg Goldeyes in the West Division Series to open the American Association’s Miles Wolff Cup Playoffs, the league announced Sunday.
Game 1 of the WDS is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at Newman Outdoor Field in Fargo. Games 2 and 3 (if necessary) of the best-of-three series will be played in Winnipeg on Friday, Sept. 11 and Saturday, Sept. 12.
Tickets for Wednesday night’s game are available online at fmredhawks.com and will be available in person at the RedHawks Ticket Office starting Tuesday at 9 a.m.
This year’s meeting will be the 13th playoff series between the RedHawks and Goldeyes, with the RedHawks holding a 7-5 series advantage and 24-22 all-time playoff record against the Fish.
The first playoff meeting between the clubs took place in Fargo-Moorhead's inaugural 1996 Northern League season, with the most recent face-off going the Goldeyes’ way in a 2-1 loss in the 2024 West Division Championship Series.
