RedHawks win American Association’s Broadcast of the Year Award
FARGO — The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks were named the American Association of Professional Baseball’s Broadcast of the Year for the second straight season, the AAPB announced Wednesday.
The postseason awards are voted on by league directors, general managers and broadcasters. Fargo-Moorhead also previously won the Broadcast of the Year Award in 2022.
“We are proud to again receive the Broadcast of the Year Award,” RedHawks Director of Communications and Broadcasting Eli Swanson said. “It reflects the buy in from our organization and partners, the great production staff members who spend much of their summer working with us and our many hours of work throughout the year to improve the broadcast.”
Every RedHawks broadcast features a combination of human-operated and robotic cameras, with an emphasis on including relevant graphics, data and pertinent information.
A new, custom in-house statistics software solution streamlined the process of integrating this data into both the broadcast and in-stadium video boards in 2026.
For the last two seasons, all RedHawks games have been broadcast over the air on KVLY Channel 11.4 “The 365” in addition to streaming online for free at aabaseball.tv.
Additional league broadcast partners include FanDuel Sports Network, SI TV, Unbeaten Sports Channel, RYZ, Bally’s Corporation, NLSE, FTF Sports (For the Fans) and SLVR Sports and Entertainment.
